If you’ve read anything at all on this website before reading this, you’ll know I’m a Business Sounding Board.

I’m hoping to pass on all that I have leant to other business owners like you. I’m sort of a ‘Business Coach’, but I’m not like any other Business Coach. Unlike many of the ‘Business Coaches’ out there, I’ve actually run my own business.

So, if you run your own business and are looking for a Business Coach/Mentor, or just someone to talk to about your next challenge, then I’m here to help.

So, how can I help you?

I guarantee I won’t have all the answers, but I can guarantee that I’ll be there to listen to you and prod you & poke you and make you think and help you set a path to get to where you want to be, whatever that might be. With no strings attached. Just simple straight-forward business advice from someone who’s ‘been there and done it’ (not just read a book on coaching, or bought a franchise).

It’s a cliche but the simple benefit of someone independent and unbiased to help you ‘see the wood for trees’, can be magical and transformative.

So if you’re feeling perhaps a little lost as to what’s next, not sure how to grow your business, facing a seemingly insurmountable challenge, simply looking to increase turnover or profit, or can’t see how to take advantage of a brilliant new opportunity, or maybe even know exactly where you want to get to but don’t know how to, then I’d love to help you. I love hearing about other people’s businesses, and their challenges, and chatting through the options available.

Why can I help you?

I spent over 18 years on my business journey running my own business. That journey covered all the learnings of starting a business, developing & growing a business and managing all of the challenges, ups & downs and new experiences that come with that. Whilst I had a lot of sales and advertising experience before we launched, I’d never run a business before. I learnt a huge amount over those18 years, probably more than I even recognise, and particularly when it came to sell the business.

We started without any external funding, never had an overdraft and grew the business to over £2m in turnover.  We created a market-leading, award winning business, whilst always trying our best to develop and look after the team.  That business journey ended when we sold the company to a PLC in April 2018.

Cliche time again, but Ive ‘been there done that got the t-shirt’ to prove it.
